Hunter & Dinah
You guys have been asking me to post up pictures of my kittens, so finally I got around to doing it.
Fun fact: Although born to the same mother, kittens within the same litter can have different fathers.
These pictures are spread out over a few months, from when we first found them to now. They were maybe 6~8 weeks when we found them, and they're six months old now. Getting pretty big, but they're still kittens and still have six months of growing to do.
This was their first picture together. The little male in grey and white is Hunter, and the little white female with spots on her head is Dinah.
Getting a little more comfortable with the camera here. You can see how small they are compared to my stuffed bunny.
A little older here, closer to Christmas. Sporting their brand new collars and snuggled up together for a nap. We didn't pose them; they did that on their own.
The love to sleep cute, don't they? This was recently after having them spayed and neutered; you can still see Dinah's belly is shaved.
A grainy shot. Hunter laying silly. They're getting bigger, he's nearly as big as my stuffed bunny here.
Was trying to pose them for a shot. Finally i gave them a can of food (They love the stuff, they normally eat dry food) to get them to stay still in the same spot long enough to get them both in the picture.
Hunter we recently discovered definately has maine coone in his blood, where Dinah doesn't. He chirps and warbles, is full of personality, and within the last few days has started playing in the water dish and drinking the water out of his paw. His sister, Dinah, is much more conservative, meowing when she's excited but mostly just purring a lot. She's much more cautious than he is, likely due to her history of mysterious back leg injuries. They've been through a lot since coming here, but all in all, they're happy basement dwellers with us.
A side note: We do take them up for sunshine now and then. D:<
